The Capitals struggled against the Jr. Blues 6-3 in home game

The Atlanta Capitals struggled against the St. Louis Jr. Blues allowing Jake Cox to score a hat trick as Atlanta crushed St. Louis 6-3 in a home game at Center Ice Arena in Atlanta. Furthermore, the Capitals' defense had a poor night, allowing the Jr. Blues 25 shots throughout the game. The St. Louis Jr. Blues took the lead before the halfway point in the third on a goal from Jake Cox.

Brody Nielsen contributed with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Bud Winter delivered for his team with 2 goals and Jack Hatton chipped in with 2 assists.
