The Capitals fall to the Jr. Thunderbolts 3-2

In the second, Mcelroy answered for the Jr. Thunderbolts with a goal at 1:24 with assists from his linemates, Creekmur and Rozema. Ladzinski answered for the Capitals with a goal at 8:11 with an assist from defenseman Moore.

During the third, Rozema answered for Evansville with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 15:13 with helpers from his linemates, Creekmur and Cody.
