During the second, Kasai finally put College Station on the board with a goal at 6:34 with helpers from Bragg and Clark. Medure quickly followed with a goal at 8:15 with assists from Carlo and Klintworth.
Atlanta’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Adams as he stopped 14 of the 15 shots he faced. Adams’ counterpart, Pehrson, also had a big night, managing to stop 56 of 60, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Atlanta Capitals’ record to (26-12-2-1).
