The Capitals crushed the Brahmas 4-1

Kyle Konin came up big, stopping 29 of 30 shots throughout the game. The Atlanta Capitals took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Cole Thomas Johnson.

Michael Klintworth did his part, adding 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist).

In the first period, Brown Iii opened the scoring for Texas with a goal at 17:16 with helpers from teammates Sykes and Cote.

During the second, Klintworth answered for the Capitals with a goal at 9:17 with assists from his linemates, Medure and Steh. Johnson quickly followed with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:29 with helpers from his linemates, Ladzinski and Nielsen. Carlo netted a goal at 17:46 with assists from Klintworth and Rusakov.

During the third period, Klintworth put in a goal at 0:25.

Atlanta’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Konin’s big night as he stopped 29 of the 30 shots he faced. On the other hand, Konin’s counterpart, Myers, and Texas’ defense was beaten a few times stopping only 19 of 23 shots.

This win brings the Atlanta Capitals’ record to (25-11-1-1).
