KELLY EXPLODES IN ANOTHER CAPS WIN

Drew Kelly was all over the ice for Atlanta, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Atlanta's 5-2 win over Evansville.

Kelly's tallies came at 13:06 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and 5:30 into the third to make the score 3-2 Atlanta.

Atlanta's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Evansville power plays. Evansville was unable to stop Atlanta from sending pucks towards the net, and Atlanta eventually piled up 36 shots on goal. Atlanta's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

Atlanta additionally got points from Artus Laukaitis, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Atlanta also had goals scored by Jacob Roers and Evan Camba, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Atlanta were Colin OConnor, who had two and Riley HummitschPhilip Pugliese,Steve MacIverAlex JohansonJesse Brown, and Dylan Wattles, who each chipped in one.

Evansville's penalty kill was ineffective, and let in two goals to Atlanta's power play unit.

Evansville was helped by Kyle Nikles, who finished with one goal. Nikles scored 9:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Evansville. Brandon Bornkamp provided the assist. Evansville also got a goal from William Bonser as well. More assists for Evansville came via Scott Jacobson, who had one.

Parks Ownesby made 15 saves for Atlanta on 17 shots. Atlanta incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Evansville's Adam Conklingstopped 31 shots out of the 36 that he faced. Evansville incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
